apparently, the pittsburgh-area church that mass-mailed the bookmark-sized steelers schedule has no idea of the vicarious lives lived by the people of pittsburgh. the church just couldn't have known, because why would any church be condoning and promoting "idol worship" by mass-mailing out a schedule of steelers games to the people around pittsburgh when these people are apt to get their lives' justification and their own senses of fulfillment by worshiping the accomplishments of the steelers?
the "idol worship" of people around pittsburgh is no fault of the steelers, i am not angry with them and i won't be asking anyone to run up to one of the negros to pull some hair, but no church should be contributing to the degradation of pittsburgh by acting as an enabler to a bunch of "ferris bueller, you're my hero" type of incompetents whose lives are pretty much lived around a football schedule.
it is totally ridiculous and immature - and as asinine as a casino-goer who wasn't allowed to spin a wheel for a prize because he was waiting in line with his hands down his pants - for the town of pittsburgh to resemble a ghost-town when there is a football game going on. or, if it's a home-game, it is ridiculous for there to be enough crowds of people to warrant a police-presence, a traffic jam, and the closure of some roads. i just want to say "GROW UP" to these dependents who think that their behaviors are not problematic simply because they can say "i didn't inhale". it doesn't matter if the mind-altering drug is cocaine or the whole football experience, "social media" or lsd, the dependents are still using something else to get them through their semi-charmed kinds of lives. they really deserve no respect, it is my calling to slap them in the face with it.
